We caught up with Adlinna Abdul Alim, the chair of MilSim Asia 2019, to get her thoughts on why you should submit your paper for ADECS 2020.

Take a look at the conference agenda for MilSim 2020.

What was your key takeaway from ADECS 2019?

"ADECS 2019 was an excellent platform to meet the key personnel in the defence and security sector. The show gave me an insight into the latest technologies that the industry offers to the world's militaries. The holding of the show in Singapore gives the militaries here in the region an insight on the latest trends and provides the lessons learnt from best practices of other militaries that employ those technologies in their services."

Why is ADECS 2020 important and why should industry leaders submit a paper?

"The complexities of today's world drive the need for the armed forces to stay vigilant and ready for any possibilities of conflict. They need to know the latest trends on the market today, and they need to learn it from the industry. By submitting a paper, industry leaders provide the opportunity to the key decision makers to view the equipment and systems that their armed forces need to be operationally ready."

What would you like to see in paper submissions?

"I would like to see more best practices and experience of the world's militaries in employing the technologies in their services. Thee should be a fruitful discussion on the use of technology, and proposals for future improvements."
